David Lowans is a sole practitioner who specializes in corporate, real estate and tax matters who has recently reopened his "boutique" practice after being "Of Counsel" to a regional law firm for the past seven years. The practice is primarily centered in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and represents numerous business and individual clients ranging from startup ventures to publicly-traded companies as well as personal matters. He also provides estate planning and trust services to selected clients.
Mr. Lowans has been engaged in the practice of law since 1977. He is currently admitted in Washington, DC and Pennsylvania and has affiliations with other firms which allow him to efficiently meet any client needs. He has represented banks, companies and individuals in commercial transactions ranging from $100,000 to in excess of $100 Million, has assisted his clilents in mergers and acquisitions and has consulted on numerous sales and purchases of a variety of business interests. Mr. Lowans is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and Duquesne University School of Law.
